UT Master programme:

Educational Technology

The Educational Technology programme is a 1-year Master’s programme partly delivered over the Internet, which is specifically designed to provide an opportunity for professional development to those people who are working or plan to work in positions that involve teaching in educational institutions (schools, universities, etc.) and wish to use educational technology more meaningfully in their work or support others to do so. The master’s programme can also be a chance for those who are working in the private sector as trainers, coaches, human resources experts or entrepreneurs to develop their knowledge in the field.

We put particular emphasis on combining what students can learn in the master with what they do at their workplace. This is explicitly favored by the flexibility of the programme and major focus on e-learning, which make it especially well-suited to those who work – whether it be outside of Tartu or in another country. This has been proven in the past years to be of great importance, because it allows students as well as teaching staff members to learn in an internationally open community, in which different cultures and backgrounds contribute to exposing them to different opportunities.

There are two sessions in Tartu: 17–31 August 2019 and one week in June 2020.

The admission period for the next academic year ends in March 2019.
